Welcome to my new blog. My name is Deborah and I am a nursing professor, researcher, health advocate,  and author of The New Nurse Educator: Mastering Academe that was published by Springer in 2013, and The Nurse Professional: Leveraging Your Education for Transition into Practice published by Springer in 2014 in addition to multiple publications. I am passionate about the nursing profession and love being a nurse educator. I would like to inspire experienced nurses to consider a transition into the world of education, and new nurses as they complete their academic journeys and transition into professional practice.
