Moon Beams by Deborah Hunt

Moon Beams
By Deborah Hunt

Lying under the moon beams
Lost in my very own dreams
Young and carefree as can be
Life has been so good to me

Teenager now and not proud
Hanging out with the wrong crowd
Can’t seem to find my own dreams
Lying under the moon beams

Young adulthood approaches fast
The rocky times have gone past
Life is very good it seems
Lying under the moon beams

Middle adulthood brings grief’s
Questioning my own beliefs
Perhaps these were the wrong dreams
Lying under the moon beams

Late adulthood years have flown
Suddenly I’m all alone
But I still have my own dreams
Lying under the moon beams
